More like a home...than a hotel, so there isn’t a list of room “types”. You have a choice of booking the Whole House, The Cinnamon Hill Suite, or the spacious rooms; Moonamal, Atteriya and Na.

Incorporates all the rooms described below plus one additional small twin bedroom attached to the Cinnamon Hill Suite which is better suited to younger children.

On the upper floor, it’s spacious, comprising one large Double Bedroom overlooking the sea and garden. With a large en-suite Bathroom with WC, shower, iron bathtub and double basins. Even more space to wander around with a balcony area at the side and front of the room also overlooking the beach. Well suited for private dining if requested.

In addition, there is one large Twin Bedroom also overlooking the sea and garden, in this stunning boutique hotel in Sri Lanka. En-suite Bathroom with WC, shower, iron bathtub and double basins. Connecting to and sharing the bathroom of the Twin Bedroom, is a further small Twin Bedroom (without views to the sea) available if required. It is particularly suitable for accompanying children.

Either of these rooms must be booked individually, and will be exclusively as the other room will not be occupied once you have booked your choice.

On the ground floor, at the rear of the property and separate from the Main House, this large Double Bedroom primarily overlooks inland towards a small lagoon and its accompanying wildlife, with access to the rear garden of this Tangalle accommodation. It has extensive windows to overlook a wide area, as well one smaller window framing a quintessentially Bawa view to the beach and sea. En-suite Bathroom with WC and shower.

All the above 3 Rooms in the luxurious Tangalle hotel have a King-Size bed with mosquito net and ceiling fan, and One Extra Bed can be added to Moonamal only.

All of the bedrooms have their own private bathroom and WC, in this luxury boutique hotel in Sri Lanka. Everyday your room will be cleaned and beds made with the daily housekeeping service. The staff are always available for check-in and departure 24 hours a day.

if your thing is wildlife, you can head to Yala National Park on safari amongst the world’s highest concentration of leopards in Yala, or enjoy the company of large herds of elephants at Udawalawe Reserve, or visit the Turtle Conservation Area at Rekawa by night, to be enthralled as turtles arrive to lay their eggs, for incredible turtle watching in Sri Lanka.

With a large proportion of over 100 species being indigenous, the Bandula Bird Sanctuary attracts every enthusiast to this wetlands area, and many species can also be found wherever you look in Yala and Udawalawe.

A short trip from the hotel are the Mulkirigala Caves boasting a remarkable temple and monastery carved out of a large and sheer rock formation in the surrounding forest.
